The County of San Diego has launched a reimbursement program to make youth sports
and camp programs more affordable, and directly benefits participants in youth sports and
camps that take place in San Diego’s unincorporated areas.
Lions Tigers & Bears (LTB) is pleased to have been chosen to participate in this program
and is offering a Day Camp Program for children ages 8 – 11 years.
The $100 registration fee for LTB’s Day Camp will be waived for children who have not
already participated in two (2) such sports or camps programs in San Diego County this year.
Day Camps will be held each Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July through
August, 2023, at the sanctuary in Alpine:

Campers will have an opportunity to participate in a guided visit of Lions Tigers & Bears’
Exotic Animal Sanctuary and learn about the rescued exotic animals in our care, including lions,
tigers, bears, bobcats, servals, leopards, jaguars, and more. Campers will also participate in
games and craft activities. Each camper should bring his or her own lunch.
Parents should complete the attached application and waiver and email it to
jonathan@lionstigersandbears.org.
There is no charge for this Day Camp program for children who have not already participated
in two (2) such County-supported sports or camp programs in San Diego County this year.
